Marvel Falcon Joaquin Torres: Unveiling in Contest of Champions

Marvel Contest of Champions has just released an exciting new trailer featuring Falcon Joaquin Torres! Developed by Kabam, this mobile fighting game continues to captivate fans with its diverse roster of Marvel characters. Falcon Joaquin Torres brings a unique blend of agility and combat prowess to the game, making him a formidable addition to your team.

Dual Instincts: Defensive and Aggressive Modes

One of the standout features of Falcon Joaquin Torres is his dual instinct system. Players can switch between Defensive Instinct, which boosts durability, and Aggressive Instinct, which amps up offensive capabilities. Mastering the flow between these modes is key to maximizing his potential in battles.

Velocity Charges and Special Attacks

Falcon Joaquin Torres can stack non-damaging debuffs to build Velocity Charges. Once maxed out, these charges trigger a special attack that activates both instincts for a powerful burst of damage. This makes him a versatile and dynamic character in the game.

Availability and How to Play

The Falcon Joaquin Torres character is now available for download on both iOS and Android devices. You can join the Contest of Champions and enlist Falcon Joaquin Torres to your team to experience his unique abilities firsthand.

Fortnite Support Studio Reveals New Sci-Fi Shoot ‘Em Up, Let Them Come: Onslaught

Tuatara Games has revealed its next project, and it’s a sci-fi survival shoot ‘em up called Let Them Come: Onslaught.

Tuatara Games has released games before – it released Bare Butt Boxing this May – but it’s perhaps best known for its work as a AAA VFX support studio working on games like Valorant, Fortnite, Godfall, and more. It’s set to release Let Them Come: Onslaught on PC via Steam Early Access in the first quarter of 2024. Let Them Come: Onslaught puts players behind the gun of a lone survivor on an alien planet who must survive hordes of creatures by activating nukes to blow up the planet.

Tuatara Games says the game features dynamic weather, and a wide range of weapons, including a flamethrower, laser beam, electric grenade, orbital strikes, and more. As you mow down hordes of aliens, you can upgrade your soldier with increased health, defense, reduced weapon cooldowns, and shields you can activate on the battlefield. To obtain these upgrades, you spend XP you earn on each run.

“We are huge fans of this emerging gameplay experience, and are thrilled to reveal our love letter to the games that inspired us,” Tuatara Games founder Klemen Lozar writes in a press release. “Using our team’s VFX expertise, survivors can expect to fight for their lives through adrenaline-inducing experiences that have the best visuals of the genre.”

Let Them Come: Onslaught also features roguelite elements, meaning a lot will be lost in between each run. However, credits collected on the battlefield stay with you, and you can spend them on permanent upgrades in the Armory.

EA Sports Announces UFC 5, Full Reveal Coming In September

EA Sports UFC 5 has been officially announced by Electronic Arts. The fifth iteration was long-presumed to be in-development, but during the UFC’s tentpole International Fight Week event over the weekend, EA Sports and the UFC made it official. While no additional details were revealed outside of the logo, we know that a full reveal is coming in September of this year.

EA Sports UFC 5 marks the longest gap between entries since the series’ introduction. Since the first EA Sports UFC game arrived in 2014, the games have arrived every two years, with UFC 2 arriving in 2016, UFC 3 in 2018, and UFC 4 in 2020. The series has traditionally been developed by EA Vancouver, so that’s the expectation with this entry as well, but no official confirmation has been provided by EA one way or the other on that front. EA Sports UFC 5 will also mark the first game in the series to launch since the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S hit the market, so we might be able to expect a leap forward in terms of graphical fidelity and/or performance.

EA Sports UFC 4 launched on August 14, 2020, and introduced various customization options, as well as new grappling and takedown physics, plus a more fleshed-out single-player career mode. EA Sports has also continually updated the game’s roster, adding tens of new fighters to the game in the time since its launch, with the most recent free update featuring Jack Della Maddalena, Erin Blanchfield, and Brandon Royval arriving just last week. For more on our thoughts on EA Sports UFC 4,

We’ll learn more about EA Sports UFC 5 in September, but in the meantime, what do you hope is fixed, improved upon, or included in the next game? Let your thoughts be known in the comments below!

The Boys Invades Call Of Duty This Week

Season 4 Reloaded of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone will be getting a big dose of Amazon’s hit series The Boys with the reveal that Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir are joining the game.

Black Noir appears in a lighthearted video in which he affirms inaudibly to a crowd of reporters that he and his friends will grace the shooters starting on July 12. On July 12, Starlight, July 16, and July 20, Homelander and Black Noir each get their own Operator Bundle. Each one costs 2,400 COD points and comes with the character and several extras, including weapon charms, stickers, insignia, and blueprints. Each character has a special finishing move as well.

The update contains a new 6v6 map with aspects inspired by The Boys, an upgrade to the Temp V field, challenges including Diabolical Camouflage, the arrival of Battle Royale in Vondel, and the conclusion of The Raid. The chart below (click to enlarge) shows what’s to come.

EA officially announces single-player Black Panther game

EA has confirmed that it will be publishing a single-player Black Panther game being developed by Cliffhanger Games. If you don’t recognise the name that’s because Cliffhanger is a brand new studio based in Seattle, its existence announced alongside its debut project.

The new studio has some talent behind it, though: Kevin Stephens is formerly of Monolith and has worked on the likes of Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Other studios members are said to have worked on games such as Halo: Infinite, Call of Duty and God of War.

“We’re dedicated to delivering fans a definitive and authentic Black Panther experience, giving them more agency and control over their narrative than they have ever experienced in a story-driven video game. Wakanda is a rich Super Hero sandbox, and our mission is to develop an epic world for players who love Black Panther and want to explore the world of Wakanda as much as we do,” said Kevin Stephens of Cliffhangar.

Details on the new game are non-existent, aside from it being third-person and open-world. It was actually leaked last year by reliable insider Jeff Grubb, who not only predicted the game but also revealed the new studio, its name and that it would be helmed by Kevin Stephens.

EA is also currently working on an untitled Iron-Man game developed by Motive.

I’m personally not a fan of Black Panther, but I’m open to a videogame based on the character. While Marvel’s Black Panther movies don’t connect with me, a fun game might just be what I need to get interested.
